The Air Jordan 1 has been one of the hottest shoes of the Jordan Brand and as they look to inch their way back to #2 in market share, expect Jordan to lean on their popular signatures shoes to make that come back. The latest announcement shows a new Air Jordan 1 hitting the shelves in a Black/Multi-Color-Black colorway inspired by this year’s Latino Heritage Movement by Nike.
Some of the images, as well as reviews that have hit the airwaves, have made this shoe a must cop come October 13th. The price of the Air Jordan 1 Los Primeros is $160.
This Air Jordan 1 was designed by Sao Paulo, Brazil, street artist POMB. His design takes inspiration from latino roots, celebrating the history, richness and diversity in the culture. The common Brazilian phrase, “é tudo nosso,” which means “its all ours: mines and yours,” further inspires POMB as he looks to push the Latino community to never give up on their dreams and keep doing it without hesitation.
